Day 12: Drink your Milk


I hate milk. I do. In fact, I never drink it because it gets my tummy upset all the time. But lately, my lower back started to ache maybe due to the cold temperature in the center or by bending a little bit to assist my students. I guess it's better to take the stuff rather than suffer osteoporosis (haha) when the time comes.

  1. Baka lactose intolerant ka sis? There are milk for lactose intolerant but I only saw those milk sa Healthy Options.

    I love milk! When I had my teeth removed, hirap na hirap yung dentist sa akin then all of a sudden she asked me if I drink milk. When I said yes, sabi niya kaya pala daw ang tibay ng teeth ko haha

  2. nasabi na pala ni sis dianne na baka nga lactose intolerant ka. :)

    if you want to protect your bones sis and you don't like milk, why not try drinking calcium vitamins or supplements like yung mga calci-aid or caltrate ba yun? i drank these sort of vitamins when i was preggy kasi the baby sucks the calcium daw out of you. kaya yung mga pregnant women daw, prone sa toothache and the likes. due to lack of calcium. so yeah.. yun na lang siguro try mo sis kung hindi mo talaga ma-stomach ang milk :)

    ako din hindi mahilig sa milk. and lately i'm having the same prob as you--lower back pains and actually pati mga bones ko sa hands minsan sumasakit nA sa morning. wala ako mabili calcium vitamins dito so bumili ako nung nesvita pro-bones. kaso nga ayaw ko ng milk so once ko pa lang tinimpla and ayoko na. sabi ng kasama ko dito sa bahay haluan ko daw ng milo. haha :)

  3. Ahhh... same here. I don't like drinking milk esp in the morning else I'll also get stomach upset.

  4. You could also try calcium-fortified soy milk or orange juice, and also yogurt.

  5. Thanks sa advice. I like the idea of drinking milk because I know it will do good for me. Kaso pag iinumin ko na para akong bata, dinedelay ang pag-inom haha!

  6. i'm lactose intolerant as well but i love milk. what i do-i don't drink milk unless i'm sure to stay at home lang. if 'di maiwasan, there's also a tablet you can take for that. but i agree with vitamin c. :)
