Day 80: Twin-Kiddo

Meet Wish Bear and Best Friend Bear. When I was young-er, my sister loved Rainbow Brite while I was a huge fan of Care Bears. I remember singing the introduction song in every episode. I even knew their names. However my all time favorite was Fun Shine Bear. Too bad she's not around.

Day 79: Alone

I'm never a rose person. Some would think I'm the type to like roses but I don't. I would prefer daisies and hibiscus. When I saw this, it was the only bloom in the bunch. I just had to capture the beauty of this lone flower.

Though hibiscus is not my all time favorite, it reminds me of my childhood. My childhood friends would get one or two from our neighbor then crush it on a can or glass. Add water and little bit of soap and voila! We had our very own bubble hibiscus!

Day 78: Bon Appetit

Good food and good company with a table full of people who I enjoy talking with. Having lunch is always a treat for all of us teachers.

Day 77: Clip 'Em

Last minute photo. Hope these help me organize (again) my papers.

Day 76: Cone Heads

This sort of cone head bushes looks really neat. I find them fascinating whenever I pass by.

Day 75: I ♥ Muffin 2

It's time for blueberry streusel! I just love both.

Day 74: I ♥ Muffin

I'm not very picky when it comes to food. I happen to see this raspberry streusel while doing our grocery.

Day 73: My Dolphin Ring

I wear this almost every day. My best friend gave this to me a couple of years ago from Palawan. She knows how much I love dolphins.

Day 72: Beautiful Day

Today is definitely one of the best! I woke up feeling good despite of having five hours of sleep. It was a fine weather. I relish the day when I don't have to wake up early, read the Sunday newspaper while sipping coffee.

Days like this need to be cherished.

Day 71: Thinking Time

Krylle is one of the youngest in my students. He is also the moodiest of them all. I love it when he pouts, and I love it more when he smiles. He's so adorable I just want to take him home.

Day 70: Bedtime Stories

I honestly believe that reading bedtime stories will make kids appreciate books more. It will foster love of reading. The kids will also appreciate your time together and will see this as your bonding time together. The kids will look forward to sleeping at night too.

Day 69: Bee Day

It's the big 3-0! This double chocolate muffin is temptation with the big T.

Day 68: To the Infinity and Beyond

Carl's glass accessory: BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! He talks about Toy Story 3 (which I haven't seen yet) nonstop. I really can't relate. Last I've seen was part one and that was eons ago so I forgot most of the characters.

Day 67: My Midnight Snack

I snapped a shot of my coffee and brownies while browsing the web. I get to stay up really late every Tuesdays and this snack helps me get through it.

Day 66: Colors Galore

Just seeing my color pens brighten my day! I always want them sharp that every time after I use them, they have to be sharpened. Just like today. I felt the need to color my coloring book. YES, I have a coloring book. I do that whenever the mood strikes me, whenever I need to think, to calm down.

Day 65: Sundays At Tiffany's

I'm currently reading James Patterson's Sundays at Tiffany's. I'm such a sucker for happy endings. Thanks for the copy Dianne!

Day 64: Sweet Tooth

My students are fattening me up. I swear, they are showering me with so much chocolates. These were given by my grade 4 student, Jonas.

Day 63: Paint the Town Pink

I don't usually experiment with nail polish. I basically stick to neutral colors. This one is my favorite. What a better way to celebrate the once "girl" in me by painting my nails pink!

Day 62: Lights Out

I went home today thinking of lighting a vanilla scented candle while listening to my favorite music. Nothing heavy for now. Just listening to Plumb's Cut soothed my mind. Lying on the bed wouldn't hurt too.

Day 61: Girls' Night Out

I met some friends today. It was pouring outside, unusual, since the day has been really sunny. I love having coffee with friends. This is the time when we get to relax and indulge ourselves with good food, amazing coffee, and endless conversation. We've decided to meet at least once a month so we can catch up with one another. One of them has been recently married so she was entertaining us about how married life for her was.

I had an English Toffee Latte and a Tobleron Cream Cheese to go with it. The cream cheese was heavenly! I was so full because the slice was huge. I would think it was good for two people and I finished it in the 3 hours that we stayed in the coffee shop.

Day 60: Hello March

Off to the first quarter of the year. It's also my birth month so I'm pretty excited. March for me is a sure sign that summer is just around the corner. I will finally have my Wednesdays and weekends all to myself! That's what I'm looking forward to.

Day 59: Goodbye February

My tribute to February. Not only they were red, heart-shaped but they're also chocolates! What more can you ask for?

Day 58: Bazaar

It's such a lazy Sunday, even the weather's going to agree with me. I almost decided not to tutor. On my way out I passed by this mini bazaar. I was drawn to these chimes, if you would call it that. I would love it if those things that dangle make tilting sound, but unfortunately they don't.

Day 57: Happy

Think happy thoughts. I always advise this to myself, more like a mantra when the going gets tough. I avoid stress as much as possible. I don't usually dwell on things that would upset me. I'm typically cheerful most of the times.

So think happy thoughts sisters!

Day 56: My First Cross-Stitch

This is the first cross-stitch I've ever finished. I started with an angel though I never finished it. Then I started again with something about sunset. It was still on hold, which I plan to get into as soon as I have time (again). I'm proud of this one though.

At one point, I wondered what it would feel living in a cottage like this. No phone, no laptop, no Ipod, no electricity. Like living here would be miles away from civilization. If I could have trees, plants, and birds around me, I would live here. If I could have fresh air, I would. If I could have peace of mind, I could. What about you?

Day 55: I Miss

I miss Yuta. He is the brother of my student JM but they already went to Japan. There has never been a dull moment for this 6 year-old boy. There was a time when he felt "sick" and really tried to vomit just to get out of tutoring. When asked about the lesson, he would deliberately talk about something else. He's just a darling.
